When we found out we were expecting triplets; a boy and a girl, Kristin and I went out and got a few clothing items for each. Cute little items that meant something to us. I got to pick items for the boy so I picked some items his Dad would wear; neutrals, of course. I wouldn't want my son to repeat my same mistakes. Namely, my Easter egg pastel phase of 1999 to 2004. So I bought a chambray onsie as one can never have to much chambray; navy cable knit sweaters with brown buttons and navy onsies, because navy; a @jcrewmens inspired sweater zip up with moose on it (not pictured); a working man's flannel so he could do man work alongside his Dad; and a white onsie with a pop of color, yes with a pastel strip, mostly, for the ladies he would have met at the park or church. As we lost him a few weeks ago, I wanted to share some of the items I intended him to wear. In a way, this post helps with closure as I know that his sister's will wear some of the clothes we bought for him. In some ways, he has helped to give them life so I don't think he will mind sharing. The ones we cannot keep, we will give away so that others can have. I would have taught my son to be loving and giving so not much has changed.
