having trouble developing a certain muscle group? Are you not feeling the muscle during most of the stranded/regular lifts?
~
Try this :
~
Find one exercise to beat the snot out of , that you REALLY feel it in the targeted area. Do it a lot.
~
I had almost zero feeling / pump in my biceps doing a lot of the "tried and true" exercises.
~
‍♂️For me, the exercise I could feel at least some, was seated concentration curls. I felt these in nothing but my biceps, where most other exercises I could feel my shoulders taking over, or nothing at all.
~
I started light (we're talking 10 lb Dumbbell) and did 8-15 reps.
~
I ended moving up to the 25 lb dumbbell in the same range.
~
I did 6-8 sets of just these. Just the seated concentration curls for my biceps training, for about 6-8 weeks.
~
⏰So when I went back to things like barbell curls, cable curls, etc?
~
My biceps now knew how to work and had enough development/strength for them to finally do some work as well during the "classic lifts"
~
This might not be as sexy as doing 40 exercises , 50 exercises, or doing biceps 8 times a week - but it worked. It just might work for you too if you have a lagging body part behind others.
~
❓What body parts do you have problems developing ?

I am in my eyes not at the stage where if i did decide to compete...the package i would present would not be up to scratch. Dont get me wrong...im happy with my body how it is currently just alot more work needs to be put in before i would call myself a bodybuilding competitor. If i was to compete i would do the figure class.  Looking at alot of athletes overseas and olympia.. ive noticed as stated by pauline nordin also... ------------------------------------------------------- **that the bikini girls look like figure girls..and figure girls look like physique girls...and physique girls look like bodybuilders** ------------------------------------------------------- For me personally i like the overseas standards And if i was to compete thats what id be aiming for...nothing less.
