I've been feeling a little all over the place the last few days; I finally took a much needed break from the madness to grab coffee with a friend today, and we got to chatting about the importance of TRUE happiness, knowing what makes you feel truly happy, and then actually doing more of whatever that is.
QUESTION: When do you feel your best? When are you happiest? When do you feel the most alive and free?
I ask because I realized after journaling my own answer to that question (my answer is below ) how INSANELY important it is to know exactly what makes you feel GOOD right now (these things change so it's good to check in every so often); so you can do more of that, and feel good, more.
✨I AM HAPPIEST WHEN I AM: living with intention, creating, breathing mindfully, practicing yoga, well rested, clear minded, working out, laughing until my cheeks hurt, drinking coffee, outside in nature, playing with animals, hugging loved ones, in the sunshine, connecting with others, writing, wearing comfy clothes, achieving personal goals, taking care of myself, learning, meditating, nourishing my body, connecting with myself, and happiest when I am grounded and calm, and when I honor my true feelings and needs.
Life is meant to be enjoyed; I know it's easy to get caught up in the necessary responsibilities for survival, but I truly believe that your happiness and well being are equally as important.
