The family had green beans instead of asparagus (I'll eat leftovers cut up in my eggs) and the littles had avocado too because they love it. Switching veggie sides out isn't hard if you have plenty of raw options and leftover cooked veggies. As long as they are actually eating half a plate of veggies it doesn't matter to me. The recipe is from @zenbelly , and I’m telling you, cooking a chuck roast in the instant pot for 35 min and this falling-apart, flavorful heaven coming out is basically sorcery. We also had plantains and roasted kobacha squash with cinnamon, chili and sea salt—perhaps a strange combo, but man was it delicious! Also, I need carbs... the baby is growth spurting and mama’s HUNGRY.  Oh, and @sietefoods grain free tortillas are perfection. 1632342875167717712_27606838

I mean, I spent most of my day inside because of school, but regardless...going from class to class or taking Maggie for a walk was miserable and I’m SO ready for fall! Haha. This dinner made up for it though! 
What’s on my plate  @organicgirl romaine and mixed greens, micro greens, roasted Brussels, sweet potatoes and carrots from my meal prep yesterday, 1/4 avocado and a heaping spoonful of @bitchinsauce cilantro sauce for dipping! ✔️Eat plenty of organic vegetables and fruit
✔️Eat all types of healthy fats including Monounsaturated, Polyunsaturated focusing on Omega 3s, and Saturated fats.
✔️Eat probiotic foods such as fermented vegetables, live cultured kefir or yogurt, and kombucha
✔️Consider avoiding common inflammatory foods such as gluten, dairy, soy, corn, etc and looking for other foods that you may be intolerant too - everyone is different!
✔️Reduce your stress levels through stretching, exercise, deep breathing, meditation, journaling, art, etc.
