Our SKIN is our biggest organ and is a key reflection of our INNER HEALTH. Imbalances, inflammation, and illnesses within our body are often expressed through skin conditions.
Our skin is the least essential organ for our survival so it is first to become malnourished when our body is in a state of IMBALANCE, and is the first recruited to assist DETOX when our liver becomes overloaded This leads to rashes and skin conditions such as acne, dry skin, rosacea, dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, and premature aging.
Rather than looking for topical solutions, look DEEPER for issues such as nutritional deficiences or intolerances, poor gut health, stress, imbalanced hormones, and bacteria/yeast imbalance so you can address the ROOT CAUSE.
What are some simple things you can do to nourish your skin and try to correct skin conditions?
✔️Stay hydrated! Drink at least 1/2 your weight in ounces of water daily
✔️Avoid processed foods, artificial/GMO ingredients, and sugar
✔️Eat plenty of organic vegetables and fruit
✔️Eat all types of healthy fats including Monounsaturated, Polyunsaturated focusing on Omega 3s, and Saturated fats.
✔️Eat probiotic foods such as fermented vegetables, live cultured kefir or yogurt, and kombucha
✔️Consider avoiding common inflammatory foods such as gluten, dairy, soy, corn, etc and looking for other foods that you may be intolerant too - everyone is different!
✔️Reduce your stress levels through stretching, exercise, deep breathing, meditation, journaling, art, etc.
If you are doing all this and still seeing ongoing skin issues, it might be the time to look deeper into the other areas I mentioned above
