In December 2016, I had been walking a road of inactivity, poor nutrition, and putting myself last. I was unhappy. I had been avoiding exercise for years, even though I knew it would help my depression.
Finally, I had had enough. I knew I needed to make a change. I reached out to a coach and joined an online fitness accountability group. It changed my life, in the best way.
I have consistently been working out daily for 5 months. I've lost some weight and some inches, but more important is what I've gained. I've gained confidence, happiness, and empowerment. I was able to change my circumstances and pave a new path, with the help of some amazing ladies (my coach and the other members of the accountability group).
Since the end of January, I've been working as a coach myself. I've seen first hand how well these programs work and how amazing the groups are. I'm about to run my 4th group come June 5th. It feels so good to be able to help other people start this journey, knowing how much it has changed my life.
