I made a glaze out of the #swerve confectioners sugar and a tsp or two of almond milk (I didn't measure - just added until I got the right consistency) then drizzled over the top. I thought it was very good - though I think the #chocolatecuffin will be my favorite. My daughter didn't like the glaze and thought they weren't flavorful enough, but I think that's because she still eats some regular sugar and her taste buds haven't gotten used to the #sugarfreelife yet. 😉#THM #thmlifestyle 1521224301709428897_4777995433

Yesterday I went out into the garden and picked strawberries and rhubarb to make these delicious Strawberry Rhubarb Galettes. It's like I forget and rediscover every time that roasted strawberries are the best!! this journey has opened my eyes to how good really is the fuel for our bodies, the answer to so many aches and pains. 
i know my migraines get worse with over processed food. processed dairy (or junk filled dairy) makes my gut miserable. 
sugar makes my kids crazy. food dye is a huge trigger for me. 
learning these things has been eye opening and has helped me not just lose weight, build muscle but also heal from all the years of bad food. i have energy, I don't feel nauseous all the time. i rarely get migraines. 
i have been able to really educate myself and have learned what works for me. whole food, the right portions, carbs early in the day and protein and veggies at night. dairy on occasion and whole grains sprouted bread. 
i didn't learn this alone, I had a nutritional program that made it simple to learn and easy to transition. I have learned how to make staple meals in our lives healthier and how to incorporate these habits across our whole family. 
if you've convinced yourself what you eat doesn't directly impact how you feel in a daily basis you are stuck in the biggest lie. what we girl ourselves with is SO important.
